Polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) is a condition of unknown cause. It is associated with problems such as irregular (usually less frequent) menstrual cycles, excessive hair growth, acne, obesity, infertility and the possible development of diabetes, osteoporosis and endometrial cancer.
Fibroid
Fibroids also called as myomas or leiomyomas, Fibroids are non-cancerous tumours of the uterus that appear during your childbearing years. Fibroids can appear on the inside or outside lining of your uterus, or within its muscular wall. They usually develop from a single smooth muscle cell that continues to grow.
Endometriosis
The uterus is made up of three special layered linings of tissue and muscle. The innermost layer is called the endometrium, the second layer- myometrium and the third layer- the serosa. Endometriosis is a condition where the innermost layer of uterus-endometrium, grows in locations outside the uterus.
